Plastic Island and our future efforts!

Hello everyone.  

 Do you know about plastic island? It is a huge trash island created
by garbage dumps from all over the world in the North Pacific Ocean.
The plastic island is very huge, It is about 15 times the size of
the Korean Peninsula. 

Do you want to know why and how this plastic island was created?
It is because of the garbage that was dumped on the beach and
the garbage that people threw away. But wind and ocean currents
also contribute to the creation of plastic island. The research
team analyzed the plastic waste pathways on the ocean using GPS
tracking buoys from the U.S Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
In the last 20 years, we've utilized data on the location of fixed
buoys and fluidized buoys that move at a certain distance along
wind and currents on each ocean to track 

what patterns and routes the buoys on the ocean have moved.
They also considered variables such as water and wind vortex.
The plastic island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is a kind
of whirlpool in the North Pacific region, where garbage is
collected in one place and a plastic waste island is created. 

Plastic island make a lot of problems. 

Let’s see about that problems. Animals die because of caught
the plastics trash.

Or they eat plastics because they Illusion a plastics are their
foods.

So,  it means we eat animals which eat plastic.

In conclusion, we eat plastic.

2011,  one of the coast in Australia, a marine biologist,
loperis find a dead turtle stuffed with 317 plastic. 

The plastics destroyed the turtle's digestive system,
leading to dead.

In 2015, a turtle with a plastic straw in its nostrils was found
in USA. 

A video clip showing a tortoise in pain while pulling a straw was
released. which made me sad.

But lots of groups are doing hard work to remove the plastic island.
one of the famous group name is 

ocean clean up.

Holland origin 20 young man named Boyan Slate suggest 

“make the o ocean to clean plastic trash  by oneself” And he
made group, to succeed his suggestion. That group name was
ocean clean up.

Boyan is using a Circular current cycle which is a same principle
why the trash meet. 

Using the Circular current cycle the plastic will be gathered.
Than resell them,and get the money.

In effect ocean clean up proved that they can make Pacific ocean
clean in 10 years.

Ocean clean up announced that the ‘Cleaning the Pacific ocean’
project will  begin in earnest on 2019~2020.

we need big project, but the most important thing is our effort.

Trash which we throw in the river also become a reason about making
plastic island.

So we shouldn’t  throw trash, in to the river.

Fishmans and aquaculturist have to give attention to their 

equipment and their facilities.

Plastic island was made because of humans irresponsibility,
so we should not let them get bigger.

Think about the plastics on the ocean, isn’t it terrible?

Think about the animals who   are feeling pain because of the
plastic island.

Don’t you feel guilty?

Then, you have to have an interest about plastic island and do
hard work to remove them.
